Master in Human Resource Management Curriculum
Reimagine HR Leadership With a Flexible Online MHRM
This program delivers what experienced HR professionals need to move from contributor to leader: the strategies that drive business results.
The faculty share real strategies and techniques they've developed throughout their careers in strategic planning, performance analysis, and organizational change. You'll learn how to put these proven methods into practice and gain hands-on experience with tools and frameworks that help businesses thrive.
A significant advantage of GW’s program is direct access to HR leaders who shape industry practices. Tapping into our D.C. network, we bring in exciting guest speakers who can share the tested strategies and candid lessons that come from years in the field.
Online MHRM Program Structure and Flexibility
Our online MHRM program is built for busy professionals. You can complete your entire degree from anywhere with an internet connection.
- Two courses per semester: Most students take six credit hours (two courses) each term to maintain academic progress.
- Weekly live sessions: Every course includes a one-hour live classroom session. You can choose from multiple sessions each week, held in the evenings or during lunch periods.
- Faculty office hours: Instructors provide extra support by holding regular online office hours through our digital classroom platform.
This is a program that emphasizes interactivity and collaboration. Peer and faculty interaction is your chance to test your ideas, share workplace insights and problem solve with peers so that when HR challenges hit your desk, you are ready to tackle issues with confidence.
